I want a compact home gym, (I live in a studio so it has to not take up that much space.) I was wondering which is better, I was going to get the BioForce but I read that weights are better and cheaper.

Well the Bio Force is better for several reasons. Safety being the biggest one. If your at home alone using free weights and say your doing a bench press and you cant lift it then there you are stuck with a large quantity of weight on your chest. The machine also pretty much limits you to the correct motion of the exercises where free weights if done incorrectly can cause muscle injury.

I am so busy I barely have time to go to the gym some days. What do you recommend that I buy to use at home? I just had my twins and don’t really have that much free time to run across town to the gym anymore, is there a good machine I can buy to get the same results? I want something that will help me lose the 45 lbs I gained from having twins, rather quickly. I have my diet down, just need something to help me with the exercising!

Without any equipment, work against your body as resistance. For example, do sit ups, push ups and the plank. Do regular calisthenics we learned in PE class. Do jumping jacks, run in place, and if there are stairs, go up and down. Thus, no equipment is needed. My friend had three babies in quick succession, and besides eating healthfully, plus cleaning every day, and making the baby food from scratch, she jumped rope each day for long periods and was very thin.

My dog decided to eat some of the pads on my weight bench (like the ones that would go under the backs of your knees and over your ankles for leg extensions) and i also need the small pins to attach a preacher curl handle to the bench (its basically a large and very stronge L wrench.) Anyone know where I can find them? I’ve looked around on some gym equipment sites but all they seem to have are actual whole weight benches. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

these days there are so many sizes and shapes of weight benches it is crazy. you may never find what you are looking for if you dont search specifically for what you have. my advice is to go to google and do a search on your specific brand of weight bench. this will more than likely lead you to a website of the equipment’s manufacturer. on their website you should be able to find their contact information. then you could either call their customer service or send them an email asking for assistance in finding replacement parts for your particular model. good luck to you!
