Looking for toning and cardio. Plus size is an issue. Can’t exceed 6′5" in hight due to low ceilings at home. Bowflex revolution is my first choice right now but it’s awfully expensive. Any thoughts?

just get some dumbells
and get a book that instructs you on how to use them to tone almost every muscle in your body. There are so many exercises out their that you can do with dumbells, abs, back, arms, shoulders, chest, everything..

they are much cheaper than those machines

There are various types of exercise equipment and I don’t know which one to buy for my house. Some people say treadmill and some say elliptical. I want to know what the advantages and disadvantages of each one are.

You can take a running machine at home but the natural exercises are good at home for losing the weight.

I have a gym membership but mostly have been using it for cardio. I am not overweight, I just want to lose maybe 5 pounds and tighten things up. I’m just wondering if anyone knows what equipment that gyms usually have that will focus on my lower stomach and obliques. Those are the only areas that haven’t completely vanished with diet and exercise. I only want gym equipment answers, not home exercise. Thank you!

I am looking to buy a piece of equipment I recently used at the gym but am unsure what it is called. It was a circular platform with about eight wheels on the bottom. It was used for an abdominal exercise where you start out in a plank position and bring your legs up to your chest and back again.

One piece of equipment. It’s light and versatile. And many clients already have it. A Fitness ball (Swiss Ball, Stability Ball), you know that big round thing. Exercises range from simple crunches to complex mountain climbers and straight leg jack-knifes. Great for core, legs, arms and chest. Have a client do a regular push-up, then the same push up on a Fitness Ball. The instability forces you to use all those wonderful connector muscles. And when you use a Fitness Ball, EVERYTHING has to come to the party. Of course it’s up to you to be creative, create a pace and flow, maybe some great music and crank out an amazing workout.

This video is to show you the workout equipment I use to do P90X and P90X2. Some is beachbody and some is not. I like the perfect push up pullup bar, but I have to say when it breaks I will buy the P90X version from beachbody. It looks more comfortable and has more hand positions. I hope it breaks soon lol because I can’t bring myself to waist the money on a new one until something happens to this one. It is holding up good and doesn’t look to be going anywhere soon.
